The Constitution is not a suicide or death pact. The Second Amendment preserves well regulated militias, which provided for the common defense and law enforcement back when we neither had a standing army nor organized police.

I'll never get over the fact that SCOTUS just straight up nullified the Voting Rights Act. Decided it didn't like the law anymore so it overturned it as no longer having a minimal rational basis because, you know, racial animus in voting rights no longer happens.

Nothing will ever get cheaper in an absolute sense. A coke will never be 50 cents again. But you can pay labor more. You can make the income from labor much more valuable relative to capital by taxing income from capital adequately.
