Right? The 70's starts to see all of the different types of rock forming and overlapping (or not) with each other.

For many yrs, this daytime 1978 Longhorn Ballroom #marqueespotting by Roberta Bayley was the only one that I'd seen. I got very excited seeing this nightitme shot in Lech Kowalski's punk rock doc D.O.A - A Right of Passage (1980).

I saw Nirvanna the Band the Show the Movie (2025) last NOV at #DFF48. I rolled into it knowing zilch abt the premise, previous show or the guys who made it. I laffed my ass off & had a blast. They pull off some serious shenanigans in Toronto. Prolly my fave time-travel flick since Timecrimes (2007).

Still kinda wild that Ronee Blakely went from Altman's Nashville (1975) to singing w/Dylan in the Rolling Thunder Revue in just a few months. Really dig Bob's shirt here and eagle-eyed tee spotters will notice Ronee wearing a Caribou Ranch t-shirt here.

Went with an old British classic in The Archers' The Life and Death of Colonel Blimp. Quite a ride thru the collapse of the British Empire in the first half of the 20th century. The German was more sympathetic than the old Brit too, oh noes.
