So can one now have Belgian waffles with all the Belgian whistles? Asking as a Belgian.

Will do, but with the limitations I have outlined. Relatively few authors have Bsky handles, I believe. But I will check.

Surprising at it may seem, asking the authors for a short abstract and handles is a big lift to take on, as is any additional correspondence in the workflow that is not a required part of the workflow.

In 2026, I will try to tweet individual articles in batches of 3. I understand that the 3-article-screenshot is not helpful for findability. I will not be able to add abstracts: they are too long for alt-text, and I do not want to condense them without author consent. All advice welcome.

Happy yo discuss Kirby, but his is quite a commitment! An automated service would have to harvest relevant info from the CC0 (totally open) metadata. Glad to hear suggestions about this.

Will add the #linguistics hashtag in future. Have to think about tweeting individual articles: it really requires a lot of work to do that properly, especially if you want the abstract. Also the audience here is a few 100 people as compared to 6240 on Facebook.

thanks for the feedback. A tweet for every paper + abstract is asking for a lot, as Glossa publishes about 100 papers a year. That would be 10 hours of additional work, all unpaid volunteer work. I am not using an automated service. A screenshot of the abstract would not render well, I fear.
