The Trump administration’s proposed extension of the 2017 tax cuts will balloon the deficit. It will enrich the top 5%, who will get 45 % of the benefits. Meanwhile the meager tax cuts for the rest of us will be offset be cuts to SNAP $230 billion over the next decade and $880 billion to Medicaid.

If we are to avoid a Trump dictatorship, it will require the creative and courageous use of all the tools of non-violence. I recommend the work of Gene Sharp. Let us make it clear that we DO NOT CONSENT and that, as we are able, we REFUSE TO OBEY.
