When it gets really cold bluebirds roost together in a pile using collective body heat to help them survive. They arrange themselves so they don’t smother & alternate positions within the pile. Peacock Butterfly (Aglais io): This species is native to temperate Asia and Europe, with a wingspan of 55mm (2.16in) and hibernates in trees or buildings during winter, it can use its eye-spots as an anti-predator deterrent.
