The decision is straightforward: either own assets that help protect your purchasing power, or leave cash sitting idle and watch it steadily lose value as the currency is debased. Over longer time horizons, that gap only widens.

National debt rising doesn’t dictate what happens to individual assets like DOGE. Crypto moves on its own mix of market sentiment, liquidity, and hype cycles. DOGE didn’t disappear, it just isn’t in a hype phase right now. But when liquidity rotates back into altcoins, it usually wakes up fast.

One of the first pieces of investment advice I was ever given on Wall Street was "Don't fight the Fed." Many years and a few painful lessons later, I learned what that really meant was "Don't fight the Treasury."
