Come on labour, lib Dems and, ok very unlikely reform would have the balls but at least the tories have finally done something good. This could happen now:

Tories would ban under-16s from social media
Kemi Badenoch has promised to follow the example of Australia, which introduced the policy in December last year.

These really are the kindof actions I'd expect from someone given a peace prize by FIFA.

A thousand times this. The facts have changed and so the debate needs to.

But no, Starmer will dodge it all and feed Reforms growth with his jack of leadership.
He could also point out that no referendum binds everyone for ever. Just like previous ones didn't. And that opinion has moved on as we've all seen what a disaster it's been. None of these things he will actually say, but he could be articulating them and contrasting the offer with Reform.

It probably shouldn't have taken me half an hour to get from the start screen to an actual race starting in Mario kart but between me and my wife neither of us has played a computer game in approaching 40 combined years and the kids had no idea 🤦‍♂️

It's that point in the Christmas cycle where you try to figure how to stop the tight annoying relatives who bring nothing to your house drinking all the good booze before anyone else gets to it.

As Jacob Rees-Mogg would always point out, the first rule of economic growth data is that it will be revised up in a few months.

So -0.1% is probably+0.1%. which is what was forecast.

The media narrative about the flu seems to be significantly over stating the chart below.
The flu is earlier and the chart is a little steeper but there is definitely a motive for trying to cancel the doctors strikes 🤔

Trump totally got them to invent this FIFA peace prize to give it to him, didn't he 😂

The medal and the certificate are just class ways to make it look like an episode of Punk'd.

So, if a house is an F,G or H band BUT its worth less than £2 million, what happens then?

The fact that someone even needs to say it out loud is hilarious. It's so obvious there's a supply shortfall.

The government:

"Oooh, we could boost demand again?! Would that fix it??"
The housing crisis has been brewing for a long time, according to Professor Paul Cheshire 👇

Coalition of the willing sounded weak 2 months ago but now it looks weaker than a house made of sticks.
November 24, 2025 at 2:34 PM
This Ukraine peace stuff is very depressing. Trump just trying to pile pressure on Ukraine.

EU coalition of the willing starting to look incredibly weak as they have no impetus and nothing to offer. Maybe a bit of cash but no weapons of their own and in reality can't even defend themselves now.

Some brilliant cricket to watch today. Definitely think Australia are missing the talent of Rusty Kelpie as opening bat.

Amen. I really had hoped for better but the writing was on the wall when they campaigned solely on a "don't say anything that will lose us a vote" basis and got totally cornered by a lame duck useless conservative government.

My son's school had an open morning today. Basically parents go in for 2 hours to be shown what they do in classes. It's great, all schools should.

In a reading session we saw loads of books they have. I picked up and flicked through "No money day".

Had to dry my eyes after. Great book for kids.
