I ran a Call of Cthulhu game for 2 players (um, 35 years ago) that had s1 True Detective vibes. The players were so freaked out stalking through a cult compound that one of them shot the other, fully by accident, even though both of them heard all my narrations of what was happening. Wild stuff.

So the fact you came all the way to Japan to tell me these things makes me very happy I worked on the game all those years ago.
