Very close to what our outdoor dog looks like: A White German Shepard. The wiki page on this breed is full of "dog show" history (yawn), but the bit I remember: the Nazi's strangely didn't like the whites. They like the black/brown GS's. People later fought for whites entering dog shows/breed desig.
