Is it the case that the Houthis are only attacking because USA is shipping arms to Israel via this route? It's not the 40% that matters. If I set fire to my neighbour's house and then put it out I'm not doing him a favour
It's because the houthis are affecting shipping volumes through the Suez canal. Only 3% of us imports go that route, but 40% of European imports do. So the Trump admin thinks they are bailing everyone out and are owed for it.

I've been here for a week and this reminds me of Twitter from 8 years ago when I joined. I'm here to follow interesting people and engage in interesting conversations. The problems at Twitter were partly good people leaving and partly the algorithms, either intentional or not.
