Buddhist monks & their dog Aloka have begun a months-long peace walk across the United States. They left their monasteries to walk on foot from Texas through the South & toward Washington, DC, stopping in towns to meditate, listen - speak about peace, compassion, & nonviolence.

On Dec. 26, 1971, Patrick Critton boarded an Air Canada flight from Thunder Bay to Toronto.
With a handgun and grenade, he hijacked the plane and had it flown to Cuba.
He was arrested 30 years later thanks to a Google search and a fingerprint on a can of Canada Dry.
