Jessie Diggins caps off a fantastic career at the mind-blowingly brutal Tour De Ski with a 2nd place finish on Alpe Cermis (wherein the skiers wrap up by climbing a downhill slope, just sick stuff.) Of her 12 Tours, she's won 3 and been on the podium for 3 more.

Beltran, for example, is just below the CF JAWS average. HOWEVER: the induction of Jeff Kent, and the correlated lowering of the JAWS standard, places one Chase Cameron Utley as not only a Hall of Famer, but an above-average second baseman even compared to his Cooperstown peers.

Watching HARLAN COUNTY USA for the first time, and its reputation as perhaps the greatest American documentary is pretty spot-on. I watch a ton of docs, and while I see plenty of this film's influence, I don't know what would be its equal.
