Experienced this at Phil and friends (a top tier jam bands, obvs) at the roseland ballroom in 2001. Except instead of a Grover puppet she had BROUGHT HER OWN TAMBOURINE. and instead of jumping on stage, she kept PLAYING THE TAMBOURINE. (It was not Donna.)
Had a weird dream that I was seeing a mid tier jamband (in a theatre) that had one really annoying fan that wanted to make everything be about him and his Super Grover puppet to the point where he jumped on the stage before the show and unplugged some instruments to get the focus on him.

The sound quality on @goose-band.bsky.social 's live at MSG album is incredible. Live albums often feel like listening to studio work with audience noise piped in. This one actually sounds like what it sounded like on the floor that night. Great work from our favorite Connecticut-based jamband!

So very this. Summer tours stress me out. There’s so much competition. But a show in February? Sign me up. I’ll bring the garbage bags for the coats.
Summer tours of our favorite acts are awesome, but I just love fall/winter tours so much. That’s when we really need them. During the darker and colder months with less going on.
