Got friends who are uncomfortable about Martin Parr but once saw an exhibition of his in Madrid where they recreated his parents back room, dank, dingy 70’s UK. Haywain print on Haywain flock wallpaper, 3 bars on the gas fire. Superb, watching glam madridistas cower in the oppressiveness of it all.
