Just downloaded the Facebook iOS app for the first time in a decade so I could put something on marketplace.

Had to answer/dismiss more than 15 prompts and screens before it would show me the app, and then it went directly into a viral Reels carousel.

Did you know your MacBook has a sensor that knows the exact angle of the screen hinge?

It’s not exposed as a public API, but I figured out a way to read it and make it sound like an old wooden door.

In what security paradigm does it make sense to prefer something I know to something I have (watch) and something I am (fingerprint)?

If it’s actually meant to be a security measure, why not make it a 2 or 3 factor auth requirement?

It also knows my phone is nearby that could be used as a factor.
