The Wright Brothers are well known, but another early Ohio pioneer in flight was Tony Nassr (sometimes spelt Toney Nassr) - here's a photo of his airship in Toledo ohiomemory.org/digital/coll... #arabamericans #aviationhistory #ohiohistory

started reading this over winter break and in addition to the excellent details and context, bridging scholarly and academic divide, the maps in the book are EXTREMELY HELPFUL. Especially considering the detail he provides of the local geographic of Norfolk, Williamsburg and other places in Virginia
