Getting ready to cover #WWII in my US history survey. I've been reading The Star Machine about Hollywood publicity under the Studio System and there was a mention of a short propaganda film about #inflation starring Esther Williams and it has some major #camp elements.

Phillis Wheatley House in Cleveland - great to learn about! Plus some discussions of the class tensions surrounding the house and the services it provided. Also discusses the 1920s Klan as a for-profit MLM (!) organization, which in part explained its rapid growth, in addition to bigotry.
