Hi. I wrote something. Been filled with many thoughts lately, as most of us have.

I know there's been a lot of think pieces over the last few days and it's exhausting at this point. But I had to let my thoughts pour out. Maybe this helps you. I hope it does.

Just want it on record on this site that when the first Mark Pope to Kentucky rumor hit Twitter, I went nuts and said that decision would set the program back multiple years

Honeymoon is beyond over now. Goodwill is gone. I never liked his brand of basketball and he did nothing to deserve this job

Otega Oweh…..woof, man

Disastrous start to the season. Doesn’t remotely look like a starter, let alone the supposed SEC Player of the Year

Nothing works for this Kentucky roster if this is the case
November 19, 2025 at 12:23 AM
Mark Pope spent $22 million on somehow having an even WORSE defense then last year

Dude had a whole lot of goodwill through his first season at Kentucky, and he’s about to set it completely on fire in a 7-day span

Having read and fallen in love with the original source material *after* having seen the first trailer — the casting of Ryan Gosling as this character is god-tier

You can't not imagine him while reading the book. Think this is a best actor nomination lock for 2027. I'll be there opening night
i still have no clue how they're going to turn this very wild book into a movie but i'm excited to see them try

It's deeply funny that Mike Johnson is so out of the loop when it comes to the plans of leadership

Dude is just a puppet and nothing more
Thune indicates Senate is unlikely to amend the Epstein bill and could pass it by unanimous consent today; cites the overwhelming House vote and Trump’s support.
Mike Johnson sort of on an island re: Epstein - voting for a bill he fought for months and hoped the Senate would amend. Awkytonk.
November 18, 2025 at 8:41 PM
Seems obvious this plays out the same in the Senate then Trump will sign off on it

It then falls on the DOJ to provide the full files and yeahhhhh I don't have confidence in that

My bet is Bondi falls on her sword one way or the other and nothing happens. Only positive political out for Trump
WASHINGTON (AP) — House votes overwhelmingly to force release of Epstein files, sending bill once opposed by Trump to the Senate.

This is 100% factually incorrect in the most literal sense

He didn't "dismiss" the question. He literally responded to it and said "things happen"

Complete and utter shame on The New York Times. Beyond journalistic malpractice at this point
November 18, 2025 at 7:16 PM
“Things happen”

I won’t forget that response
Trump suggests Khashoggi had it coming: "You're mentioning someone that was extremely controversial. A lot of people didn't like that gentleman that you're talking about. Whether you like him or didn't like him, things happen. But he knew nothing about it. You don't have to embarrass our guest."

It’s the ultimate easy move to make

But it’s also the right one by Schumer
Breaking: Leader Schumer says he will immediately move — TODAY — to pass the Epstein resolution in the Senate by unanimous content after it passes in the House.

It does rock that Twitter is down due to its AI affiliations while this site is still chugging right along

Good sign, IMO

Geno, it was an awesome run

Sun’s getting real low now. Time to hang it up

Really hope they’re okay and getting the help each of them may need.

Curious what others may think on this

But my best guess for the Super Bowl Matchup this season is Rams vs.... Bills?

Think that feels the most right at the moment as I trust Josh Allen over Drake Maye. But the Patriots would be my No. 2 pick from the AFC right now
November 17, 2025 at 5:48 PM
Whew. That Penix news is huge, huge NFL news

Real chance the Rams will make the Super Bowl and will have a Top 5 pick in the 2026 NFL Draft. The latter outcome there is 100% happening

Rebuild incoming for the Falcons, who should consider drafting a QB in the second round, and in the 1st in '27

Monday morning Quarterback thoughts thread:

Has Bryce Young figured things out? For this season, 14-7 TD-INT ratio, nearly 200 yards per game, 63% comp. percentage, QBR nearing 50

Basically league average across the board, and the Panthers are just a half game back in the division. Interesting!

Has been that way for a long time, and we’re way past a tipping point. But until Goodell cares, nothing will get done

Mahomes is the boogeyman

But to make the AFC playoffs, you need to have *at least* 10 wins. Considering they don’t have tiebreakers vs. the Bills and Jaguars (and possibly the Chargers) Kansas City needs to win 11

Which means they can’t lose more than 1 of these games. I just don’t see it
November 17, 2025 at 12:52 AM
Folks……

The Kansas City Chiefs are not making the playoffs

Since a week of bad discourse is ahead, put me in the camp of “Shedeur didn’t look *good* but there were flashes for someone who came off the bench in the 2nd half vs. the Ravens”

Would like to see him with a week of prep

Biggest issue he has is running backwards. Needs to bail out east to west
