Been a long time, but I finally wrote something up!

Went long on why WAKE UP DEAD MAN works so incredibly well as a rebuke of Christian Nationalism. Even got a little personal! Read if you'd like.

They are going to lose in a huge way in November, and I’m personally looking forward to it very much
Breaking: Democrat Chasity Martinez just won a Louisiana district in a massive landslide victory.

Trump won this district by 13 points.

Kentucky is so up and down this season, but the ups have been more common lately

Very pleased with this Mark Pope coaching job to this point with the top 3 transfers out with injury. He’s won me back over

You know what?

Good for them! Dance on Duke’s grave as much as possible, IMO

Pretty annoyed by complaints of tanking in the NBA, to be honest

Is it bad? Yes. But if you look at me with a straight face and say what the New York Jets did in the NFL this season wasn’t obvious tanking, you aren’t serious

It happens in every sport. Is what it is.

Him and Chester Bennington were my music heroes growing up. Now, they are both gone. Crushed.

However, who they were and their music lives on. Here Without You and It’s Not My Time are perfect songs
3 Doors Down founder and frontman Brad Arnold has died, he been battling stage 4 kidney cancer. “With his beloved wife Jennifer and his family by his side, he passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones, in his sleep after his courageous battle with cancer” the band announced. Arnold was 47.

*Overly, earnest very nerdy post*

But I gotta be honest — I got a little emotional at the end of this latest episode when the OG music hit right after THAT moment

Haven’t felt Game Thrones hit like that since summer 2016, almost a decade ago. Actually felt…hope??? Holy shit, man
HOLY SHIT

A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms is pure ABSOLUTE CINEMA

Can run through a brick wall right now. I don’t care what yall say, this is peak Game of Thrones stuff. I’m so in

......okay, but can we actually bargain with him on this?

Like, seriously — rename a state after him if it means we get free healthcare, I don't care! Anything, plz
Trump is making it clear that he intends to put himself on Mt. Rushmore before he leaves

Disgraceful shit
Have no fear, New York Times is ON IT.

Every single Republican that does an interview should be ask directly for their opinion on this.

I don't care what the topic is, this HAS to be the first question. Need them on record trying to defend this

…..enough already.
Last night, Trump posted a video to his social media platform that contained a racist clip showing Barack and Michelle Obama as monkeys. It's still up:

One of the biggest literal gambles I've seen in recent sports history

If the balls fall right, the Pacers get a franchise-altering prospect along with Zubac and a healthy Haliburton next year. Easy East favorites

If the pick falls between 5-9, the franchise is crippled all for Zubac

No pressure!
The Indiana Pacers need to move heaven and earth to finish with one of the 3 worst records in the NBA — but that still gives them just a 52.1% chance of keeping the pick. Russian. Roulette.

Even worse, only *1* game separates teams 1 through 5 at the bottom of the league

Good luck, Indiana!
February 5, 2026 at 7:46 PM
Oh my....

Look, Zubac is exactly what the Pacers needed — but that's a lot for him. Absolute Russian Roulette with that pick this summer. Plus, both Mathurin and Jackson are promising young players

If the Pacers keep the 2026 pick, they win the trade. But if they don't...this is an abject disaster
Pacers receive:

- Ivica Zubac
- Kobe Brown

Clippers receive:

- Bennedict Mathurin
- 2029 unprotected Pacers 1st round pick
- Pacers 2026 1st round pick (1-4 protected, 10-30 protected; converts to 2031 1st if not 2026)
- 2028 Dallas 2nd round pick
- Isaiah Jackson

Part of the reason why this NBA Trade Deadline is so incredibly weird is teams and front offices have fully adjusted to all this apron nonsense

Now, teams have to concentrate constantly on cap-moving, lateral moves to avoid being in the second apron. Just a ton of slop movement to survive
February 5, 2026 at 7:11 PM
Just incredible dealing from the Knicks, who get Alvarado for nothing and save money

Thank you, Pelicans!
The Knicks trade for one of the most attainable reserve guards for them in Jose Alvarado.

They had limited options in upgrading the bench within first apron trade restrictions. Dalen Terry for Alvarado works.

They gain $1 million in apron space. They can sign a 15th player now.

LETS GOOOOOOOO

THE KINCKS JUST GOT JOSE ALVARADO!!!

Sure, give the Lakers a top-tier shooter for free

Cool cool cool cool
The Los Angeles Lakers are trading Gabe Vincent and a 2032 second-round pick to the Atlanta Hawks for Luke Kennard, sources tell ESPN.
February 5, 2026 at 3:39 PM
Which is to say — I don' think Giannis gets traded today

My money is on Ja Morant being the biggest trade that happens before the deadline at 3 p.m., and he's probably going *to* Milwaukee as the final offering to Giannis before they inevitably trade him this Summer
The Timberwolves are creating a roster to suit Giannis. Offloaded Conley Jr. and Dillingham to get a better starting PG at a cheaper price

Now, they can go all in on a trade and have the core be Ant/Giannis/Gobert/Ayo

If they can keep McDaniels (doubtful) in that trade, they are getting a title
Just in: The Chicago Bulls have traded Ayo Dosunmu to the Minnesota Timberwolves, sources tell ESPN.

Wait, the Golden State Warriors traded Kuminga and Buddy Hield for a guy who probably might never play the game consistently again?

Essentially, got nothing from the 7th overall pick in 2021 when they could've taken Franz Wagner or Trey Murphy

Object disaster. Franchise is cooked
February 5, 2026 at 2:06 PM
Think this is a solid job by the Mavericks, who finally get multiple 1st Round picks out of the remnants of the Luka trade

For the Wizards....I don't get it. Sure, AD is done for this season so they can still tank. But why even give up the assets? You have Alex Sarr who is young and promising!
BREAKING: The Dallas Mavericks are trading 10-time NBA All-Star Anthony Davis, Jaden Hardy, D'Angelo Russell and Dante Exum to the Washington Wizards for Khris Middleton, AJ Johnson, Malaki Branham, Marvin Bagley III, 2 first-round picks and 3 second-rounders, sources tell ESPN.

The main, more important points to be made about this aside — Vance looks like absolute shit

Seriously, just google picture of him from 2 years ago. In the most literal terms, he doesn't look well at all
Reporter: Do you plan to apologize to the family of Alex Pretti?

Vance: For what?

Hate to say this as I'm sure they are some great people who are still there, but anyone subscribing to the post is encouraging this

It needs to die completely under it's current owner so maybe he'll sell it to someone else and it can be revived. Incredibly unlikely. But this can't be supported
So fucking infuriating watching Bezos and his cronies kill the Post. Taking away sports, books, and international reporting so you can write opinions praising Trump is so damn bleak.
