Person on a 🚲 in Edinburgh & beyond!
At least this railway is already built… but still some tricky junctions / connections to the tram lines to resolve 🙃

Get well soon. Agree information could be better and clearer.

I meant as in a live map with the gritters on so you can see where they have treated before you head out. Like I’d adjust a route if I could. Will mention to Councillors.

Ouch sounds painful. Wishing a speedy recovery. Yeah a daily live map of routes gritted like the Transport Scotland one for named gritters would be super handy.

Thanks. Yep I use the grit bin for the pavements and road outside my flat to the main road but seems like hardly anyone uses the ones I see in the Braids. If everyone did a little bit it would be better for everyone but seems that attitude is being lost.

Leith, and Ocean Drive has also been very slippy most mornings hovering at or below 0 - one friend coming to grief on ice a couple weeks back.

If people need help with grit bins for some local do gooding with bins, a reminder that this page can help:

We found this the case with Whitehouse Loan yesterday also, which resulted in a hard fall turning right into Blackford Rd. Five minutes later we witnessed another kid fall at the turning off of Newbattle Terrace onto Whitehouse Loan.

I may be wrong but pretty sure the paving stone is Scoutmoor which is readily available.
Is the any reason why the redundant unidirectional cycleway isn’t blocked 🚧 with barrier to encourage use of the correct bidirectional cycleway? All seems forgotten about.
