Listening to On Point on @wbur.org about LED headlights often being too bright to oncoming traffic, and so far no mention of matrix led headlights and how they were illegal in the US until very recently. This is the tech that will make LEDs safer for other drivers

Just watched the new Knives Out and I think it's really important you know that the scene in the Seminary's Gym is filmed in the same place Rick Astley filmed the music video for Never Gonna Give You Up.
I saw the window tracery and immediately made my friends pause the film so I could tell them.

Not quite record warmth in Columbia, but close in the south with some nearing 80°. 🥵 The big change from Columbia to Moberly was the temperature difference across the front that drove so much uncertainty in the temperature forecast in the days leading up to Christmas.

A somewhat stationary boundary will countinue to wobble nearby through Christmas. As temperatures change greatly over the boundary, exact temperatures remain greatly uncertain, but 60s are looking more likely on Christmas Day. Latest on ABC17 News This Morning 🌅

As expected, showers are becoming more productive as they move east. Still no lightning with these, just pockets of moderate rainfall. Winds are starting to pick up from the west behind the rain in our western counties.

It's an active day today. Winds are gusty from the south this morning as showers move in, before cold winds from the northwest gust up to 40 mph this afternoon. Only about a quarter inch of rain is expected this morning before sunshine this afternoon. I'll have the latest this AM

I was on my boat late last night & thought I heard a scrabbling noise coming from outside. I saw movement out of the corner of my eye & looked up to see a fox had come through my open boat hatch & was climbing into my bed!

We have a chance for strong storms along a cold front, mostly after midnight tonight.
An isolated storm may develop this afternoon and evening, but we'll likely have to wait for a line along the cold front that will push through the region between 2 a.m. and 9 a.m. Tuesday.

Most areas have improved with dry time, but flooding along the Blackwater River is still a problem. Good news is rain ahead won't be nearly as impactful as what we had over the weekend. I have the latest this morning on ABC17!
