What an absolute incoherent mess of a word salad. Complete twaddle.

If Shamima Begum were white, no effort would have been spared to bring an abused child home.

Mmhmm

We'll see, but I think Trump and MAGA are products of a set of circumstances that are unique to the US.

I changed my password to something I wouldn't remember and then logged out. It's still there if I ever wanted to go back to it, but I haven't missed it at all.
December 27, 2025 at 7:22 AM
They don't run the country. Correct.
December 26, 2025 at 7:04 PM
Bloody hell, what are the Junior Policy Fellows like?

Let me guess, they don't exist do they...
December 26, 2025 at 10:47 AM
Yes, I'm not going to indulge anyone policing the use of language as it is used and understood by billions of people.
December 26, 2025 at 9:53 AM
Because no citizens of the US ever call themselves Americans right? And Canadians and Mexicans call themselves Americans all the time...
December 26, 2025 at 9:23 AM
Americans, do you all understand how deeply weird you look to the rest of the world?
December 25, 2025 at 8:59 PM
Weird, didn't the US have a revolutionary war to escape the monarchy?
December 25, 2025 at 1:39 PM
This is child abuse.
December 25, 2025 at 8:11 AM
What? Christians poking their noses into other people's private business? Say it isn't so...
December 23, 2025 at 8:55 AM
Land of the Free... 🙄
December 15, 2025 at 4:09 PM
No it doesn't. Other people getting on with their lives doesn't take anything from you.
December 15, 2025 at 12:55 AM
They don't want an enlightened future. They want an oppressive future, in which they get to dominate by subjugating everyone else.
December 14, 2025 at 11:13 PM
Unpopular opinion, but I find Terry Pratchett hard going. I just can't get into his level of zanyness.
December 14, 2025 at 3:15 PM
The worst thing about this is that Labour could just change the law to circumvent the Supreme Court, but they won't.
December 14, 2025 at 3:06 PM
Something intensely creepy about these "concerned fathers" performatively protecting their daughters from threats that only exist in their imagination.
December 14, 2025 at 2:31 PM
I'm 99% certain that I have in my life encountered dog turds with more genuine Christian conviction than Sarah Pochin.
December 14, 2025 at 1:50 PM
What an ass.
December 14, 2025 at 1:45 PM
I think you should read this back when you are sober. You might be a bit embarrassed.
December 14, 2025 at 11:36 AM
I don't think we even disagree. It is possible for both pensioners and young people to be aggrieved by a failing system for different reasons.

It's v telling that pensioners are *already* unhappy with the state pension age going up. How much worse will it be in 40 years for those starting work now?
December 14, 2025 at 11:03 AM
And fwiw, I don't think young people are hostile to pensioners. They are hostile to a broken system which is resulting in generational inequality. You can't just expect them to sign up to that without complaint because an earlier generation want what they see as their dues.
December 14, 2025 at 10:50 AM
I think you're misguided in your hostility to young people. And your emotional blackmail doesn't work.

"I've contributed to this Ponzi scheme for years and therefore you owe it to me to join the Ponzi scheme..."
