I feel like the way the characters are portrayed is ridiculous. Lily, at the beginning of the movie, is presented as an intelligent, creative and (it's implied, I think) ambitious young woman but as soon as she finds herself in Tess's body, -

I watched the movie lilies not for me today and here's the thing: I can't stop thinking about it. The cinematography and aesthetic were flawless and Fionn O'Shea's performance was excellent but God! It was horrific! Thinking it's based on actual, historical events absolutely sickens me.

Four years later, I watched the series Leonardo at last.
It was a highly fictionalised account of Leonardo da Vinci's life. I was dubious at first but found it entertaining enough in the end. I'm not sure Aidan Turner was entirely right for the role but god, he's so pretty I'd forgive him anything
