I feel like the way the characters are portrayed is ridiculous. Lily, at the beginning of the movie, is presented as an intelligent, creative and (it's implied, I think) ambitious young woman but as soon as she finds herself in Tess's body, -

It was a highly fictionalised account of Leonardo da Vinci's life. I was dubious at first but found it entertaining enough in the end. I'm not sure Aidan Turner was entirely right for the role but god, he's so pretty I'd forgive him anything
