i don’t exactly blame devs for signing bad deals with publishers. in a lot of cases i imagine they feel it’s the only way their game will ever get made and they probably right

i often see people say “you don’t need a publisher” etc as if most developers don’t understand that. but games do require labour and labour requires payment
