Maybe this is just annoying pedantry (which is why it's on bsky and not Twitter) but I'm noticing so much more copy where folks are saying "can" instead of "will"

Even the slumping version of Kyle Tucker has a really high floor thanks to walking a lot and not striking out; in part because of that, his 15-game rolling wRC+ has only been below average for a few days this year

Not impossible to chase a ton and have a great season, there are a few on here! But it's the exception, not the rule, so I'll be curious to see if he can make it work, taking pitches be damned

PCA's hand-eye coordination is pretty freakish so maybe swinging a lot will continue to work for him but here's all his whiffs or foul tips this year, you can REALLY get him to go WAY out of the zone and at a certain point teams are just gonna force-feed high fastballs and low breaking stuff
