If you are getting money from an entity, you absolutely have a conflict of interest in matters regarding that entity. How is that at all confusing to you?

Nobody said it’s a conspiracy theory. They are saying it’s a conflict of interest. That claim is not based on how or why she’s getting the money, just that she’s getting it. You just wanted to be a little smug about how those idiots don’t understand pensions, although it’s totally irrelevant.

I’m actually not familiar with the substance of the claims. I would imagine because Pfizer is intimately financially connected with the health insurance industry, there is an appearance of conflict of interest to many people.

Can you explain how? Nobody is claiming that she’s getting the money in an unusual way. The fact that she’s getting money at all is the problem.

I don’t think this situation is really like any other. Most historical moments are unique, including this one. And at this time, in this country? We might get a few marches. But there’s no use policing each other about who might be valuable in what mass mobilization. Not happening.

Yeah I mean it sucks that more people don’t know this stuff, but I feel like with not much effort I’ve made my digital life pretty peaceful.
I will say the one thing they haven’t fixed is spam text messages. I think that’s my main complaint these days

I don’t think I really deal with very many “little digital irritations”, if any at all, on a day to day basis. I have notifications for most apps turned off and don’t really use social media, maybe that’s it?
