Finally, the movie is totally accurate by having Göring justify himself by citing the US bombings of Japan. This was what the Nazis on trial compared and defended themselves with, not Segregation. The movie should be commended for not giving air to that total falsehood.

The movie doesn't depict the role of the Soviets, which is kind of a shame, since they were the ones who corroborated the Polish reports and actually liberated places like Auschwitz and Treblinka. The movie also got right that most Deaths happened in 1941/42.

"Regular" as opposed to "Atypical" or "Fanatical Nazis" like the SS depicted in the film. And yes, The Wehrmacht/Heer did commit atrocities on their own initiative without SS prompting. I.e. reprisal shootings of Jewish Civilians in Yugoslavia

The Heer/Army is under the Armed forces, i.e. the Wehrmacht. It's not a homogenous unit but it still involved "regular soldiers".
