Pretty sure all gun clubs have safes, and members can store their guns there. High level security in both the case and club as a whole. My son-in-law owned one for a long time, never left the gun club.

I finally made it to the top of the library holds list for this and it's on my shelf waiting. Clearly a popular book, I'm eager to dive in!

I don't think he can afford it, with his legal bills.

I think she might be talking about Florida.

I would just like to make it clear that I'm not a big fan of the idea of nuking Alpha Centauri.

I think it was a slip of the tongue, he meant to say *building* the houses. 🤔

In case you think the analogy with murder is a little far-fetched, a team of researchers led by Monash University found that between 2000 and 2019, 5 million extra deaths were caused by climate change related extreme weather events. www.monash.edu/news/article...

Instead we should be stopping murders, wherever they happen - that is to say, we should be actually stopping emissions. Not burning or digging up fossil fuels. Not bulldozing native forests. We all know what to do.

Perhaps he could argue self-defence, but would be tricky to explain why he got out of the car.

What baffles me is why you would stab them when you can just run them over a claim it was an accident.
November 11, 2025 at 12:54 AM
Yep. But they won't because that's not what they're preselected to do. Our major political parties are not fans of democracy. That's why I don't vote for them.

Perhaps poor people are just better at managing money.

We elect them to speak up, but the party pre-selects them to shut up and support the party line.

Billionaires are a blight on the planet. Also, they mystify me. Why do they want all that money?

Lol, it's not a threat until it is. They are counting on their billions to allow them to shift the risk to poor people, but they're willing to put a bit of money into finding a cure for malaria as a climate catastrophe offset. :(

Climate change is not a major threat to billionnaires.
