The death of Hind Rajab [Panel 1] Hind was fleeing Gaza City with her family when their car appeared to come under fire from an Israeli tank. There is a recording of Hind's 15 year old cousin Lalan speaking on the phone to a dispatcher at the Palestinian Red Crescent They are shooting at us. The tank is next to us Then there is gunfire and screams and the line cuts out [Panel 2] Hind was now trapped in the car with the dead bodies of her family. She was 6 years old. Hind stayed on the line with the ambulance service for three hours. I'm so scared, please come, Come take me. You will come and take me? For three hours [Panel 3] The Palestinian Red Crescent negotiated with the Israel army for safe passage so an ambulance crew could go an save Hind. Agreement was reached and an ambulance crew was dispatched They were never heard £rom again. Hind was never heard from again. [Panel 4] I'm so scared, please come, come take me. You will come and take me?

CONGRATS to Australian fossil fuel company Santos, which has been granted 614,133 carbon offsets for its new CCS facility.

Assuming a price of $37, that's $22m AUD in profits if they sell the CCS offsets. Or 600k tonnes of fake "neutralisation" if they claim it for themselves.

Australian oil and gas producer Santos' Moomba carbon capture and storage project has received the largest single Australian Carbon Credit Units issuance, bringing in fresh supply into the market, although market participants said the credits were unlikely to be offloaded into the secondary market. The credits issued under the carbon capture and storage method covered the project's first six months, as per Santos's media release, Nov. 3. Australia's Clean Energy Regulator confirmed in a press release by the regulator Nov. 3, 614,133 ACCUs were allocated to Santos for September 2024 to March 2025. The scale of issuance was expected to stir the ACCUs market, but market participants said they observed a surprising lack of reaction. "I expected the market to come off a little, but it hasn't really," a Sydney-based ACCU trader said, commenting on the impact of the announcement on ACCUs spot market.

I agree with the Liberal Party. Net zero is a scam and we should abandon it. It's like saying it's OK to commit murder as long as you pay a surrogate to have a baby at the same time. Also, that it's ok to procure multiple murders in another country because that's the other country's problem.

I think this is absolutely correct. The right wing of politics has been very quick to harness this anger and turn it to their own ends, which are mainly 'make rich people richer'. The mainstream left has resisted and tried to be the 'sensible centre' when they should be for radical redistribution.

I feel like a lot of pundits are really missing the obvious by pontificating about how Trump’s vote reflected a huge swing to the right and Mandani’s to the left.

It’s much simpler than that: they’re both ‘fuck the system’ votes. It’s not left-right, it’s status quo vs literally anything else.
