I reposted this earlier in the week, and replied to several of the posts in the thread. Mysteriously none of these are visible in my timeline. I am hoping the fossil fuels industry has not yet found a way to NERF this kind of material.

My view: if that tax treatment is aimed at achieving desired savings for pensioners, we shouldn't take it away by directing their investment [that will be the effect; lowering returns, increasing risk]. If the tax treatment is too generous, increase taxes.
