I hope this new vf gives me a competitive drive again because for as much fun as I'm having in Tekken 8, I don't give a single fuck about competing in it or being good at it. I'm literally just vibing and playing ranked with zero practice mode lol

-open and closed stance system seems to be back (good)
-the animation is bonkers. you can see specialized blocking animations for guarding certain moves with specific limbs.

With a new Virtual Fighter coming we gotta kill that narrative that narrative that VF is this impossible game that you need a PhD to even think about playing. It's one of the biggest lies that have ever been told about fighting games and I think it genuinely hurts its growth.
