Folks will dismiss the outward credulousness here, and of course we have no reason yet to trust that he's taking this seriously, but the language Bacon uses here is an intentional shift away from the Administration. Republicans are feeling Trump's weakness and adjusting accordingly.

Folks will dismiss the outward credulousness here, and of course we have no reason yet to trust that he's taking this seriously, but the language Bacon uses here is an intentional shift away from the Administration. Republicans are feeling Trump's weakness and adjusting accordingly.

Not great that we’ve created a system where the best job opportunities for working class men involve either overseeing other working class people in prison, or working as masked secret police violently hunting down working class immigrants targeted for deportation despite having committed no crimes.

We need journalists to ask him about this. (I know, he'll lie.) He'll say "he heard" they were treated unfairly with no evidence to support it. He doesn't care about drugs, he cares about power, and setting other criminals free makes him feel powerful. So does prosecuting enemies who haven't crimed.
