We'd have 33 seasons of DS9 if we had kept our eye on the ball. Over 850 episodes at a staggering 26 episodes a season. You could do an entire season just on Garak and Bashir's kids. As a society, it's clear where we've failed

There's been a lot of bad Star Trek over the years, there's been some decisions here to lean into that vibe. I feel like we should have just kept making DS9 and never stopped doing that
