Jamie’s having the crappiest day—and that’s before the winged horse shows up in his backyard. And did I mention the Amazon in the kitchen?

Find out how bad it gets in The Unwanted. It’s kinda like Percy Jackson, but make it gay.

No, *really* gay.

A quiet war rages over this book. On one side is the fact that the literary establishment act like it doesn't exist, it has zero influential media pals and its Amazon sales rank makes it look like a shipwreck. On the other are the readers who tell me stuff like this about it every day.
I just finished reading this. It is the first time, I think, that I have ever read anything that is both whimsical and devastating. I love it, and I cried a lot at the end.

It is a central part of so-called Gender Critical ideology [far right transphobia] to deny that LGBTQ people were victims of the Holocaust. So accounts of the tens of thousands of Queer ppl who were incarcerated, persecuted or murdered are vital.

Holocaust denial is vile & a far right signifier.

Its authenticity was discredited because of his reputation, but also because he was quick with gin at the time and wearing an item of knitwear back to front.

The one upside of not being able to get outside and do the things we normally do is that it's 6pm on Christmas Eve and I've already prepped veg for tomorrow and wrapped presents - This is NOT normal.
