I'm in Lisbon. Cell service was out for hours. Spotty now. People raided grocery stores + ATMs earlier, but all is calm. The last gasp of sunlight is vanishing over a darkened city.

In late 2019, on the eve of Covid, I watched "Years and Years," a dystopian series (BBC/HBO) by Russell T. Davies.

My favorite show of the past decade. A clear-eyed, tinged-with-dark-humor view of a world to be that now, in many ways, was.
