i managed to finish chapter 5 of my dragon fic! the chapter is called „interlude: the curse“ and here’s a small sneak peek as i otherwise would spoil too much 🐉

As Jimin stole away into the night, a lock of Jungkook’s hair safely stored in his pocket, the motionless grief had given way to something ancient and cold. His magic, this power they called corrupted, whispered of patience. Of centuries to come. How dare they betray him like this. When he had done everything for this kingdom! Every sacrifice, every duty, every drop of blood given freely—and this was supposed to be a word of thanks?
