Social media is very effective at creating sin-eaters. A sin-eater is different from an ephemeral main-character. It's a recurring "well would you look at that guy" person you see screenshotted on your feed constantly, who is meant to stand in for the evils of some larger group you dislike

should people be nice to LLMs? or feel positively about them? i don't particularly know or care.
but encouraging people to *specifically* throw insults around will lead to people being bigger assholes in general, and they will then be assholes to people.

the prosthetics thing is the specific thing that convinced me this was something that needed to be addressed. which gyges explains in the post - there are disabled influencers whose comment sections are FULL of people using this "as a bit" when it's just an excuse to be shitty. it's not good.
