Men of Harlech, stop your dreaming,
Can't you see their spearpoints gleaming?
See their warrior pennants streaming,
To this battle field!

the concept of information that can be viewed by publicly by anyone, but somehow excludes an unknown subset of the public that you do not like is not something that can logically exist

something like this is successful if it gives the group more optionality. it has far less than it did before it

if you repeat “there is still time to repent” enough times in front of people facing down a hostile crowd and news cameras the message will start to sink in

i think there should be christian preachers in front lines of every protest unsubtly doing the “sinners in the hands of an angry god” thing

Gonna be thinking about this lede for a minute.
(RNS) — Last month, the Rev. David Black stood in front of a Chicago-area U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement facility and spread his arms wide. Adorned in all black and wearing a clerical collar, the pastor looked up at a group of masked, heavily armed ICE agents on the roof and began to pray.

“I invited them to repentance,” Black, a minister in the Presbyterian Church (USA), said in an interview. “I basically offered an altar call. I invited them to come and receive that salvation, and be part of the kingdom that is coming.”

But when Black began to lower his arms a few seconds later, the agents responded to his spiritual plea by firing pepper balls, or chemical agents that cause eye irritation and respiratory distress, video footage shows. One struck Black in the head, exploding into a puff of white pepper smoke and forcing him to his knees. Fellow demonstrators rushed to his aid, and as the pastor rubbed his face in pain, the agents continued to fire.

“We could hear them laughing,” Black said.

"The pornographic is thus the model of a society where sexual difference and the difference between reality and the image both disappear at the same time, and all registers become eroticized as they fall into non-distinction and the confusion of genres."

if this really takes off as a mode of expression, i wonder if you may actually see new platforms where prompt-based multimedia is the default thing you post with
