To me the success of Farage & parties has always been to present itself as not treating people as stupid - straight talking no fannying about lads this is this and that is that. Presenting Matt Goodwin as Manchester's own and peeling off some visible Tory failures muddies that territory imv.

Truth time: Matt Goodwin's Dad and I went to see the Lee Miller exhibition at Tate Britain and did not invite Matt. An honest mistake. Since then Matt has been on an obvious downward turn. I apologise to everyone but most of all 44-yr-old Students4Reform President, Matt Goodwin. Matt - we are sorry.
