After switching to bluefin linux as my daily driver a few months ago from windows 10 I'm amazed at how little memory it uses. I've got all manner of dev tools opens and I'm idling at 15GB of memory usage - upgrading to 96 GB not so long ago seems like a big waste now.

Thinking of buying a 32GB AMD GPU for LLMs. (current is aging 4060 with 16GB ram). To kick the tires of the AMD stack I ran Qwen3-coder-30B on an ancient Radeon RX 580. The code it generated was not shit, and 10 tokens/sec is not great...but good enough for some background agent.

I've recently switched to Bluefin linux and got "caught" like a lot of the docker world with the v29 upgrade which broke devcontainers because it requires API v1.44 or greater. I know rolling back to an earlier bluefin version should be the right move here, but I'm tempted to wait it out.

What controls which models show up as 'agents' in copilot? I want to use Qwen 3 Coder locally...I can choose it in the 'Manage Models' list but it doesn't show up in the list of models when I choose 'Agent' mode. (It does show up in 'Ask'). When I choose the openrouter-hosted version it shows up 🤔

Looks like a great open-source project. immich.app I self-host a bunch of family photos and videos on jellyfin, but getting the photos off my phone to jellyfin is a pain in the ass....I will have to give this a try.
