Looking at some after graduation continuing learning programs and I'm frustrated how many of them require travel once a month with TWO weekends on zoom per year. Could we maybe NOT burn that jet fuel? How about we meet monthly on zoom and 1x a year a full week in person session? COME ON.

Yeah, and adding nib tuning on top of that to get it super smooth just makes it more expensive.

They're discontinuing the gold VP nibs??? WAH? Damnit. Those were literally their BEST nibs.

Hmmm, the VP nibs are usually pretty good but my EF is a little sharp, the F is smooth as glass. A nibmeister might be able to smooth it out. (And did you get one of their new steel nibs or the original gold? I prefer the old gold nibs!)

Yeah I think Pilot's nibs (unless you are going with the very expensive gold ones) are famous for that kind of scratchy feedback I DO NOT like (I want my pens to feel like writing on ice). I prefer Platinum but the finer the nib the more likely it is to feel a bit sharp.

Yeah the last time I was home traffic was horrible and I wasn't sure if that meant the cities are gaining population or more folks are driving in for things or what. Coming North up 75 into Detroit was also way worse than it was 10/15 ago.

Seriously, and as someone who has never liked beer and now doesn't drink they're the LEAST interesting places to go, crap food and there's generally just some soda on the menu for us non-drinkers, not fun nonalcoholic beverages (which totally exist)!

Almost certainly a nib or feed (or combo) problem. There's just no ink flowing. 1. Be sure you are using fountain pen ink, not artist ink. 2. You can use a magnifying glass to examine the nib slit (pictures might help us). Pictures of nib/feed alignment could also be helpful. Info about the pen?

Have you tried EF Japanese pens? Platinum EF are my go to for tiny writing. They are probably smaller than .3mm and write INCREDIBLY fine lines.

Yeah but usually you aren't straight out of law school when a president appoints you to a position which means some of these folks have been working 50, 60 years!
