Can someone make sense of this for me??? Wendy Rogers— who made wild threats of child abuse against parents who took their kids to drag shows and told other parents to call CPS—just produced a bill that would have essentially made her liable of that exact thing?

I'm currently trying to write a narrative and I'm stuck thinking, "how should I craft this to make someone who DOESN'T normally trust us, learn to trust us?" I've been doing this a lot frequesntly, primarily with family members in mind—as if I'm writing for them.

I have surgery in three days so in case I die, I making Kofteh Tabrizi, Khaleh Joosh, and homemade naan as my last meal. There will be leftovers. In the event of my death, don't touch my food.
