Great video on how most games don’t need a gameplay hook, they need to create an experience people want to play.

It’s like how lots of game trailers have title cards like: “harvest, prep, cook, plate, serve!” without ever stating a goal of say:

“Make your dream Taiwanese food restaurant!"

We use our own custom scripting language built for games (www.explanguage.com) and I'm so happy as a result every day.

Used one on COD also. People don't know the productivity they're missing.

1-based indexing is bad but don't get me started on how painful it is to refactor LUA code.
