Green grass
I'm not relying on my anecdotal experience, that was just to add some colour, although I am surprised at the number of people I've spoken to who care about immigration but wouldn't vote Reform.

Danish style reforms poll well, even with Greens, though this may change once they're more politicised.

The reforms even poll well with Green voters, although this may change as they become less abstract and more politicised.

They're polling okay

So while it doesn't counter anything I said, you should still consider that pull-forward spike. Jan-July '25 BEV sales were +10% over Jan-July '23, and will likely return to growth over '23 by the end of the year. Note the Aug '23 and Dec '22 incentive phase-out spikes.

Not an accurate description at all, only true for cars exclusively fuelled by green/clean/renewable h2, which is not the norm. theicct.org/publication/...

Yes it would be important to try and ensure any moderation system doesn't stifle genuine debate about contentious issues. X appears to try and consider that too in their guidelines (although might just be inherited from Twitter):

Hateful conduct and harassment are against the X guidelines, along with attacking someone on the basis of race/etc:

Unfortunately that doesn't appear to be the case, Quebec saw similar seasonal impacts to FCEV efficiency: www.bv.transports.gouv.qc.ca/mono/1323826...

Thank you! Looks like it is intermittent, UFH + rads, and set to run at 30% in wait mode, and min permitted speed of 25%. Problem (minor) is after DHW heating it doesn't seem to circulate and so the temps are elevated from that and take ages to cool down when mild...will query forum later 🙂

I'm sympathetic to arguments that Twitter struck the wrong balance, and that cancel culture went too far, but I don't think that means any sort of behaviour can go unchecked. I mean this is a literal nazi account harassing a woman for being in an interracial marriage...where do you draw the line?

Who should be addressing the hundreds of racist replies? “卍 Aryan Queen 卍” doesn’t care about getting called a disgrace, it doesn’t undo the torrent of racism unleashed on the married couple, and who wants to spend their time doing that? Are you volunteering?

At least you're getting a price 😅

We're not so different over here.

Did this not happen or was it not enough to shift the needle?
April 17, 2025 at 6:14 PM
Yeah it's a dire situation, unsurprisingly. Sales of passenger car FCEVs peaked in 2022 and are now in the single digits, and the fleet of registered FCEVs has been declining for over a year:

With some variability unfortunately.

Chart with data specific to the UK, but is a worldwide trend, price difference between ICE and EV models has steadily declined while number of 'affordable' EV models has increased:

Trending down compared with prior forecasts then

RMP is not rational, I got blocked for disputing the screenshot he posted showed production intent for FCEVs by automakers. It’s quite clearly just erroneous data for the most part.
February 27, 2025 at 6:51 AM
Ah, blocked because I made the point that irrelevant data doesn't prove the claims he's making. I suppose that makes RMP a "baby man"?
