Happy new year to everyone except Netflix who shut off access to Harry Potter at midnight without warning meaning the last 40 minutes of a Harry potter marathon the kids hadn’t watched meant we had to rent it from Amazon. Grr.

Obvs congrats to Dame Dodds. However, v happy that it has been illustrated by her visit to Magdalen Road’s excellent Frost Fest. Also that image of Simon and I in Xmas is gonna haunt us 🤣 #crosspartydialogueFTW #eveninreindeerantlers
Oxford East MP Anneliese Dodds has been appointed a Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire in the New Year Honours List. Her citation reads: “Bringing a breadth of policy expertise to Parliament, she has taken leading roles in financial service regulation and taxation.”

I am back in my happy place, I have borrowed a baby and remembered how to use a wrap. Not the finest FWCC ever but I’m rusty and it held well enough for an hour’s wrap nap #babywearing #snuggles

Donald Trump is a Kremlin stooge who wants to sell out Ukraine and the rest of Europe to Putin. We can't let that happen.

Starmer should seize frozen Russian assets in this country - today - and convince Merz and Macron to do the same.

Come and meet Santa and do your Christmas shopping! This Saturday!
It's going to be AMAZING (like it is every day of the year - very lucky to live so close to this incredible street).
Retailers on Magdalen Road in East Oxford have announced the lineup for this Saturday’s Frost Fest. Events include a Christmas Jumper Parade at 10am, carol singing at noon, and Christmas light switch-on at 3pm, plus Santa visits, a lantern workshop and live nativity.

Brexit has cost each and every one of us £3,700 a year.

But instead of solving the problem, Labour are using Brexit as an excuse to raise your taxes.

My message ahead of the Budget: Stop blaming Brexit and start fixing it!
