I did not know that about ocean spray. Now I feel badly that I bought some other brand of cranberry juice over the weekend. Next time!

This photo even has a 70s tinge to it - I love it!

The smell of ferns in the July heat. When I was a kid, the road to the camp I went to was lined with ferns (and lots of silly signs to make the drive more fun), and that smell always takes me straight back to Bear Creek Camp.

No, but both my parents would respond to my “I’m trying!” with “yes, you’re very trying” 😆

Right? It happens so often I feel like it’s procedural at this point. We got one for an ambulance for my mom, and when I called about it, I got the ‘oh, she should never be billed for an ambulance’… then why was she? If I wasn’t her POA, she probably would have just paid it, and she’s a former LPN.

Yaaayyyy!!

Same here. But then I realized what it actually was, and was no longer grossed out

What even funnier is that the article has two photos; the second one actually does have the Porsche logo on it.

Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton are gonna be astonished to hear they drive for Porsche 🙄

That’s what I’ve done as well. If they support this regime, they don’t deserve even the small part of my life that gets shared there.

This is beautiful! I love the sound of a cappella voices in a resonant space. I’ll have to dig out the video of singers that randomly showed up in the courtyard while I was touring a monastery in Tomar.

Yes. My mom lived a little further north than me and was overrun with them once it started to get cold. I love the wee beasties, but they are a little freaky when there’s hundreds of ’em.

Pretty sure we’d be sad to live *without* it. There’s a reason you are one of the accounts on my ‘my happy place’ feed. 💚

Wait. You haven’t been to Philly? You def need to go now! If ya do, you’d best let me know. Although I think we’re closer to each other up north (45 mins v an hour to PHL, at least for me)

Same.

Really? I spent my JYA at Kings College London, so have always been a bit protective of her. I did read an article a few weeks ago that was a bit more nuanced about the situation (e.g. it was common for researchers to share info), but she still got done dirty.

Omg. I’ve seen people in online forums use it for ‘dear husband’ (gack) and I couldn’t figure out why they referred to their spouse as a dickhead 😆
