I like five things: books, music, history, Leeds United and some people (the funny brainy open-minded non-racist ones).
The awful dull angle is problematic, I agree - ok, forget Corberan.

I thought WBA fans were quite sad to see him leave, and he did pretty well at Valencia last season, although it's been a tough ride this time round.
Oh well, back to the drawing board.

It's maybe one or two games too soon, or maybe they've got no one lined up yet, but I've lost confidence now, so for me it's just a matter of time.

My local Aldi has extraordinary music taste - Beatles, Talking Heads etc. - as I bought a loaf of bread this morning we had The Air The I Breathe by The Hollies and Serenade by Steve Miller Band

That said, it does take new players time to adjust to the Prem, so not writing anyone off yet either.

It does look like most of the new signings are not steps forward - maybe Gudmundsson and Longstaff, hopefully Okafor and Perri - but at best we're only marginally stronger than last year.

Exactly, with Bielsa there was always a chance, even against the top sides, with Farke the best you can hope for is that we capitalise on whatever mistakes the opponents make, and don't make too many of our own

Me too, we seem to be in two minds about being hard to beat (not working) and trying to win (also not working).

It's hard to think of three teams that are worse than us - both Wolves and West Ham have changed managers and will probably improve. Burnley are poor but they beat us good and proper. If they (plus us) are the bottom 4, we could finish anywhere in it, so that gives us a 25% chance of survival.

Sadly, I think it has come to that. I don't see any other way forward here.

Agree with all of that, the thing with Farke is that in his three years I haven't seen anything that convinces me he has what's needed given the limitations of the squad. Good luck to him at Southampton.

We need to find a way to repay all that money they borrowed over the pandemic (a pity furlough wasn't properly costed), otherwise there'll never be any wriggle room for anything - just crack on, I say, but do it fairly and properly.

Not much of a track record, but a definite possibility. We need someone who can do something special with an average squad, Farke has shown that he can't do that.

Oh, that's just the empty feeling of hopeless desperation talking, we're not as bad as Southampton.

Still circling that drain, not quite down it yet - focusing on the positives.

Who knows, they keep it so well hidden, but I'm starting to suspect something ...

I know, it seems unlikely, but my eyesight isn't the world's greatest, and I spotted the red poppy without much effort - makes you think.
