Pioneering animal advocate Christine Townend sadly passed away this week. From founding @animalsaustralia.org & Animal Liberation, to supporting sheep welfare, to caring for street dogs in India, she devoted her life to ending animal suffering. Her legacy lives on.

Pope Francis embraced compassion for marginalised people. The 2015 Encyclical Laudato Si’ called on us to realise that “we are not disconnected from the rest of creatures but joined in a splendid universal communion” & to “ respect the particular goodness of every creature”.
