This is true. But this time of year they also sell a yellow box of “liquorice novelties” that usually has quite a lot of them in it. €6 in Centra and Tesco near me.

Or, for the mega fan, look up liquorice “spogs” to buy them in bulk from online sweet shops. 🙂

Go with the over sized styling. Pair with big chunky cosy clothes perfect for this time of year. Don’t go smaller and pinch your toes. You’ll wear them once and never again.

This fact pops up every couple of years and is then promptly ignored by the powers that be. They’d rather claim that NIMBY driven judicial reviews are holding everything up (they’re not).

People are use planning to increase land values. They should forfeit if they don’t proceed with building.

Most of all, find a way to pay something, anything, towards real journalism. It isn’t free.

Is it any wonder we see the political centre shifting constantly to the right then? Vainly hoping to salve the fears of a public taught by constant news coverage to fear whatever gets the most clicks lately?

The attention economy distracts us all by focusing on shallow short-term stories.
