His steel and aluminum tariffs imposed in March of 2018 resulted in at least 75,000 job losses in metal-using industries by the end of that year.
By the end of 2019, his tariffs caused an estimated net loss of 175,000 U.S. manufacturing jobs in metal-using industries.
